Was born in 75, Waltons started in 72. Am absolutely loving it. But so sad at all the characters that have left. Grandpa died, Grandma had a stroke and John Boy and Olivia both left. Olivia came back. Can’t help but wonder what was going on behind the scenes for 2 main characters to leave.

Greetings: I just viewed an episode of The Walton's today. The episode was the one where John Boy won a trip (from the NPS) to New Jersey to view welcoming of the Hindenberg.
